2012 MAD DOG WINTER CLASSIC!!!
The Mad Dogs ave already started working on next years 2012 WINTER CLASSIC. we are adding a FANTASY DRAFT to the Christmas Week Event. There will be a 9th Grade Captian and Assistant Captian on a MAD team and a Captain and Assistant Captain on a DOG team. The captians will pick there own players, numbers, & possibly there own coaching staff. The Draft will take place a couple nights before the Winter Classic. We might have the draft at the O'Brien Ice rink, but the draft might be held at another location with food & beverages. As the players are chosen by the captains, each player will get to chose there number and will able to take the Winter Classic Jerseys Home until the day of the Game.
The Fantasy Draft will also be used as a Holiday Party for the Mad Dog Coaches, Players and Parents. This will be the 3rd Annual Mad Dog Winter Classic, which we are trying to secure a date on either Saturday December 29th or Sunday December 30th, to allow more family, and freinds to attend the game. The past 2 Winter Classics have been a great success and we feel by adding the FANTASY DRAFT into the mix, will make this event that much better for everyone.
